Bigfoot / Sasquatch
Newspaper Archive Articles from the 1800's to the 1950's
Educational values indicate that Bigfoot/Sasquatch sightings have continued not just as a phenomena of the latter part of the twentieth century but early seen reported as early as 1818 in the press, describing them as "Wild Men."
The impact of such is that, this is not a phenomena based on hysteria, but rather independent corroborating witnesses. As in criminal cases, we see similar but varying descriptions of behavior and appearance, but the general consensus would be we're dealing with the same type of culprit.
Eventually, the term "Ape-men" would come to be used, or Baboon or "Cave-Man" and even "Bear-Man" in some instances.
